Grand Harvest Wine Festival at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm
MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Garden State Wine Growers Association hosts the Grand Harvest Wine Festival on Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14, from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township! Last year over 10,000 people had a blat enjoying a sampling of 300-plus New Jersey wines, dancing to live music, and feasting on delicious foods. Artisan crafts are available for purchase. General Admission (21 or older) is $20; $25 at the Gate. A 2- Day Pass is $40. Anyone under 21 is Free and must be accompanied by someone over 21. Rain or Shine event/No Refunds. In keeping with the harvest theme, Fosterfields offers Fruit of the Vine on Sunday, October 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by the Fosterfields Farmhouse Kitchen to learn about a former owner of Fosterfields, General Joseph Warren Revere, who planted a vineyard on the property. Hear about this venture, and discover how grapes were used during the 1920s.
