Toys Donations Are Needed This Holiday for the “The Timmy Albine’s Memorial Toy Drive”
MORRIS TWP., NJ – The Morris County Park Police once again are leading the effort to collect and distribute toy donations for ill and needy children of all ages for the holidays.
Once known as “Saddle Up for Toys,” this toy drive that began in 2002 by Sgt. Timmy Albine, has grown into one of the area’s most significant annual toy donation program. In memory of Sgt. Albine, this program has been renamed the “Timmy Albine Memorial Toy Drive.” Now, in its eleventh year, the Morris County Park Police are seeking to exceed last year’s donations of over 4,200 toys that were collected and distributed throughout New Jersey, including those areas hit by Hurricane Sandy.
Please help brighten the holidays of ill and needy children in the Morris County area hospitals and shelters by bringing an unwrapped gift to one of the three collection boxes located at selected Morris County Park Commission facilities.

Mennen Sports Arena: 161 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township
With a generous hearts and helping hands of the community, the Morris County Park Police hope to exceed their annual goal of reaching as many families as possible this holiday season. “It is a privilege and a joy to help make the holiday season brighter for children and families”, said program coordinator, Sgt. Gabe DiPietro, of the Morris County Park Police.
