Historic Holidays
MORRIS TWP., NJ – Join the festivities during Historic Holidays at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township on Thursday, December 6; Friday, December 7; and Saturday, December 8, from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. Experience what a 1920s Christmas could have been like for the resident Farm Superintendent Edward Woods and his family.
After a wagon ride to the farm, explore British baking and decorating traditions. Meet the farm animals and help with chores, such as cracking corn and feeding the hungry chickens. Lend your voice to sing Christmas carols, and see how the house has been decorated for Christmas.
Stop by the Visitors Center to see the interactive Transportation Exhibit and Caroline Foster’s restored 1922 Model “T” Ford. Each day the Center holds different special holiday craft activities.
