According to Dave Helmer, Executive Director of the Morris County Park Commission, “We are responding to the many requests from skaters and golfers alike, as well as their family and friends, who want the convenience of a gift card. Now, a grandparent can give the gift of skate lessons, or a friend or colleague can give a round of golf or a gift from the Pro Shop. This makes gift giving easy.” These gift cards can be purchased online at www.morrisparks.net, at Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township, and available at any open golf shop.
Each gift card is designed for their specific location, either Mennen Sports Arena or the Golf Courses. With just a swipe, users can purchase a food at the snack bar at Mennen Sports Arena, sign up for lessons, or rent a pair of skates, and enjoy a public skate session. At the golf courses, golfers can play a round of golf, enjoy the driving range, take a private lesson, and make a purchase at the golf shop. “It’s all about convenience from the purchasing of the card to the use of the gift card,” adds Helmer.
