Apple Cidering at the Great Swamp!
MORRISTOWN, NJ - Get involved in the hands-on apple cidering process at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham Township. Help to prepare the apples, grind them, turn the old-fashioned press, and collect the delicious, fresh cider. This engaging experience is topped off with a sample of sweet, homemade cider! You will also learn some amazing facts about the apple’s place in history and in the natural world. Demonstrations take place at 2 p.m. on November 8, 9, 22, 23, 29, and 30.
